Neillsville is a city in Clark County in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. The population was 2,731 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Clark County.

Neillsville was founded in 1875 by John O'Neill, who built a saw mill on the Black River to enable local woodcutters to sell their logs to buyers downriver in the larger city of Eau Claire.
