Wilmington is a town in Windham County, Vermont, United States. The population was 2,225 at the 2000 census.

Wilmington Vermont, chartered in 1751, is a small town of 2,225 residents, however visitors and second home owners swell that number considerably all year long; especially during fall foliage, ski season, and holiday weekends. Wilmington is located in the Deerfield Valley in the Green Mountains of southern Vermont. The picturesque village is surrounded by beautiful rural mountainous countryside. All four seasons are special here and many people who come to visit end up staying for the natural beauty and rural way of life.
