Lewisburg is a city in Marshall County, Tennessee, United States. The population was 10,413 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Marshall County. Lewisburg is located in central Tennessee, south of Nashville.

Today, modern Lewisburg/Marshall County is the home of several nationally known industries and the World Headquarters of the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders' and Exhibitors' Association.

The Marshall County Historical Museum is located in the Hardison School Annex and was established in 1996 by the Historical Society. The Museum houses artifacts of Marshall County and its residents. Several traveling exhibits have been housed here as well.
