Glencairn Garden - Award-winning Glencairn Garden displays nature’s finest colors, textures and shapes. This seven-acre garden includes a reflecting pool and fountain and is a quiet place for strolling, nature watching and quiet contemplation. Peak bloom period: last week of March - mid-April. Huckle Grove - This pedestrian park, located in downtown Rock Hill, is home to many historic trees. Most of the trees in this park were cultivated from trees that were witness to an historic event in the founding of our country. Open from dawn to dusk.
Kings Mountain State Park - Offering visitors 6,883 acres of woodland terrain, this park is adjacent to Kings Mountain National Park, a prominent Revolutionary War battle site. 16 miles of hiking trails, seasonal canoe rentals, fishing, swimming and even horseback riding offer plenty for outdoor enthusiasts. The Living History Farm recreates an Upcountry farmstead of the 1850s. Camping facilities and picnic areas available.
