Sandy is a city located in Clackamas County, Oregon, United States, and named after the nearby Sandy River. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 5,386, however the 2006 estimate shows 7,070 people. The city serves as the western gateway to the Mount Hood Corridor.

Sandy is located at 45.397499, -122.266319. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 6.8 km² (2.6 mi²), none of which is covered with water.

Sandy is the home of the annual Sandy Mountain Festival, the Sandy Oktoberfest and the yearly Hometown Holiday Festival and Parade.
