Lincoln City is a city in Lincoln County, Oregon, United States. It is named after the county. The population was 7,437 at the 2000 census. Lincoln City is located at 44.966630, -124.011209. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 13.9 km² (5.4 mi²). 13.8 km² (5.3 mi²) of it is land and 0.1 km² (0.04 mi²) of it (0.56%) is water.

In the city the population was spread out with 22.2% under the age of 18, 8.3% from 18 to 24, 24.0% from 25 to 44, 26.2% from 45 to 64, and 19.3% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 42 years. For every 100 females there were 84.5 males.
