Lincoln City is a city in Lincoln County, Oregon, United States. It is named after the county. The population was 7,437 at the 2000 census. Lincoln City is located at 44.966630, -124.011209. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 13.9 km² (5.4 mi²). 13.8 km² (5.3 mi²) of it is land and 0.1 km² (0.04 mi²) of it (0.56%) is water.

In the city the population was spread out with 22.2% under the age of 18, 8.3% from 18 to 24, 24.0% from 25 to 44, 26.2% from 45 to 64, and 19.3% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 42 years. For every 100 females there were 84.5 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 80.2 males.Lincoln City is home to one of the world's shortest rivers, the D River, connecting Devils Lake with the Pacific Ocean.
