Jamestown is a city in Stutsman County, North Dakota in the United States. It is the county seat of Stutsman County. The population was 15,527 at the 2000 census, making it the seventh largest city in North Dakota. Jamestown was founded in 1872.

Jamestown is home to Jamestown College, a private, four-year, liberal arts institution on the city's north side.

Jamestown is the home of the World's Largest Buffalo. This cement statue overlooks the city in a tourist attraction called the Frontier Village. The village is also home to the National Buffalo Museum and houses White Cloud, an albino buffalo housed in a fenced off area between the village and the interstate. White Cloud lives with her daughter, Princess Winona, amongst a herd of fellow buffalo.
