Blue Springs is a city in Jackson County, Missouri and is a satellite city of Kansas City, Missouri. The population was 48,080 at the 2000 census. Blue Springs is located at 39.017794, -94.274421. Additionally, the Jackson County Parks system, including Lake Jacomo and Blue Springs Lake, adds another 3,000 acres of parkland to our area. Both lakes have full-service marinas, swimming beaches and shelter house facilities.

Golf facilities are available both in and around Blue Springs. The City of Blue Springs opened Adams Pointe Golf Club.
