Wabasha is a city in Wabasha County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 2,599 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Wabasha County. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 24.1 km² (9.3 mi²). 21.1 km² (8.2 mi²) of it is land and 2.9 km² (1.1 mi²) of it (12.16%) is water. The city is located on the Mississippi River at the foot of Lake Pepin.

Wabasha is also home to the Grace Memorial Episcopal Church, the oldest Episcopal church in Minnesota. The church is rich in history and features a one of a kind Tiffany stained glass window.

One of the more unique establishments in Wabasha is the Anderson House, a historic hotel that encourages you to "rent a cat" for the duration of your stay.
