Two Harbors is a city in Lake County, Minnesota, USA, along the shore of Lake Superior. The population was 3,613 at the 2000 census. Gooseberry Falls State Park is located 13 miles to the northeast. 3M was founded in Two Harbors circa 1902. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 8.3 km² (3.2 mi²). It borders Lake Superior, which contributes the two natural harbors for which it is named, Burlington Bay and Agate Bay.
