Roseville is a city in Ramsey County, Minnesota, just north of Saint Paul and east of Minneapolis. It is the only Twin Cities suburb to be geographically adjacent to both St. Paul and Minneapolis. Roseville home to the John Rose Oval, the world's largest outdoor artificial sheet of ice. The Guidant John Rose Minnesota Oval is an outdoor ice rink in Roseville, Minnesota. Consisting of a 110,000 square foot (10,200 m²) concrete surface with 84 miles (135 km) of embedded cooling tubes, it is the largest artificial outdoor skating surface in the world. When the temperature is above 50 °F (10 °C)—the highest temperature at which an icy surface can be maintained—the concrete surface can be used for inline skating.
