Kasson is a city in Dodge County, Minnesota, United States. As of 2004 census estimates, the city population was 5,210. The city is located 13 miles west of Rochester, Minnesota along U.S. Highway 14 and is one of the endpoints of Minnesota State Highway 57.

The City of Kasson, named for Irish Pioneer Jabez Hyde Kasson, was incorporated on February 24, 1870. Kasson was a prairie at the time, and early settlers began planting trees - Today the City holds the "Tree City USA" designation for its ongoing tree propagating and maintenance program. Visitors are encouraged to visit Kasson's historic attractions, including our original limestone watertower and the WPA era fireplace and stone fencing in Veteran's Memorial Park.
