Pellston is a village in Emmet County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 771 at the 2000 census. The village is the home of Pellston Regional Airport. Its motto is "Icebox of the Nation".

The village is on the boundary between Maple River Township and McKinley Township on United States Highway 31. Interstate 75 is about 10 miles (16.1 km) east of Pellston. Mackinaw City and the Mackinac Bridge is approximately 18 miles (29 km) north and Petoskey is about 20 miles (32.2 km) southwest of the village.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 4.9 km² (1.9 mi²), all land.

In the village the population was spread out with 33.3% under the age of 18, 6.9% from 18 to 24, 32.6% from 25 to 44, 18.3% from 45 to 64, and 8.9% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 31 years. For every 100 females there were 98.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 94.0 males.
