Garden in the Woods is a 45 acres large (182,000 m²) woodland botanical garden located at 180 Hemenway Road, in Framingham, Massachusetts, USA (The Garden is the largest landscaped collection of wildflowers in New England, containing over 1700 kinds of plants, including over 200 rare and endangered native species, all nestled within a mature oak forest on glacial terrain of rolling hills, ponds, and streams. The Garden in the Woods also contains the largest retail native plant nursery in New England. And open to visitors between April 15 and October 31.

Cochituate State Park is a regional day use area principally used for boating, windsurfing, fishing, and swimming. The majority of the park consists of three sections of Lake Cochituate and is popular with canoers and kayakers. Boat rentals are available at the park in summer months.
