Lansing is a city situated along the Missouri River in the eastern part of Leavenworth County, located in northeast Kansas, in the central United States. The population was estimated to be 10,214 in the year 2005. It is the second most populous city of Leavenworth County and is part of the Kansas City metropolitan area.

Lansing DAZE - An annual event held at various locations in the City and at Lansing High School on the second weekend of June. It’s a full day of family activities, entertainment, displays, crafts, and food. Families start off this day right with an early pancake breakfast. An antique car show, military equipment, and musical entertainment are provided throughout the day along with games and rides for the community to enjoy.
