Howe, Indiana is an unincorporated town in north-central LaGrange County, Indiana at the intersection of State Road 120 and State Road 9.

Howe is most famous for the Howe Military School, founded in 1884.

Howe Military School is located on a 100-acre campus in northeast Indiana. It is a private, co-educational, and college preparatory boarding school that is academically accredited by the State of Indiana, North Central Association (NCA) and the Independent Schools Association of the Central States (ISACS).

Howe has a unique "town square." A traditional Farmer's Market is held from Spring to Fall on the town square every Saturday morning. Residents (both English and Amish) come to the square to sell their fresh home grown produce and hand made products. The town square hosts numerous ice cream socials, live entertainment and community bake sales and fund raising events.

Howe also has an active community. Every Thursday evening during the Spring and Summer months, a classic car show & tell is held on the town square. Vintage, muscle and classic car owners bring their autos to display and share stories about their vehicles and general socialization.

Howe boasts one fire department, three restaurants, three gas stations, an ice cream shop, a bank, a barber shop, a grain mill, an accounting office, tanning & video shop and a Post Office.

Just outside of Howe, going west on US 120, there is a large camping ground. Twin Lakes Camp Ground. This location has a beautiful view of South Twin lake. Families come from all around to camp and enjoy the beautiful countryside scenery. Boating, swimming, hiking, putt-putt golf are available.
