Local Attractions:
Music - The Waterloo Municipal Band performs every Tuesday evening, June through August, at the Courthouse Square, located on the corner of Main and Third Street.

Theater - The Monroe Actors Stage Company (MASC) is an amateur theater troupe, which presents productions throughout the year at the Capital Theater, located on Main Street.

Annual Events:
Spring Fling - This annual event is held the first Saturday in April with local merchants, artists, and crafters gathering in the Courthouse Square. A variety of food and drink is available from local organizations and the kids always look forward to visiting with the Easter Bunny.

Farmers Market - Local growers sell their produce and wares each Saturday morning on the north side of the Courthouse Square. The market opens in late spring, depending on the weather, and remains open until the end of October.

Heritage Fall Festival - Local merchants, artists, and crafters gather on the Courthouse Square to sell their wares. A local chicken wing competition allows patrons to sample and vote for the “Best Wings in Waterloo”. Other food and drinks are also available. A petting zoo and carriage rides are featured. This event is held the second Saturday in October.
