Indianola is a city in Warren County, Iowa, United States. The population was 14,100 at the 2005 special census. It is the county seat of Warren County. Simpson College, a liberal arts college of the United Methodist Church, is located in Indianola. Indianola is also the home of the National Balloon Classic and National Balloon Museum.

Simpson is a small school with approximately 1300 full-time students and nearly 500 part-time students.
