Ehrenberg, also historically spelled "Ehrenburg" is a census-designated place (CDP) in La Paz County, Arizona, United States. The population was 1,357 at the 2000 census.
Ehrenberg is located on the Colorado River, which forms the border with California. It is situated close to the Interstate 10 highway. The town, once home to an Army Fort, is officially listed as a ghost town although the deignation may change as the population grows.
Ehrenberg has the Colorado River on one side and the colorful desert/mountain view on the other side. The river offers visitors a variety of water sports; Campgrounds, mobile home parks, an off-road vehicle staging area complete with tables and restrooms, and other overnight accommodations are available in the area. To the south rise the Kofa Mountains where the major attraction is Palm Canyon, a tight gorge reached via a steep but rewarding climb.
