Maumelle is a planned community in Pulaski County, Arkansas, United States, founded by Jess Odom. According to 2006 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 14,318. It is northwest of Little Rock, bordering the opposite shore of the Arkansas River, and is part of the Little Rock-North Little Rock-AR Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Maumelle is very fortunate to have beautiful park areas which include many neighborhood playgrounds, basketball courts, and over thirteen miles of paved trails. Residents also have access to wooded greenbelts throughout the city. Picnicking and fishing are available at Lake Valencia and Lake Willastein.

A newly renovated recreation complex, The Jesse Odom Community Center, is open to all Maumelle residents and their guests. The lower floor of the community center hosts the double gymnasium. The center also houses a health club with cardio and weight rooms. Rooms are available to rent for events and special occasions.
