Daphne is a city in Baldwin County, Alabama on the eastern shoreline of Mobile Bay just off I-10: 11 miles east of Mobile, 45 miles west of Pensacola, Florida and 150 miles southwest of Montgomery, the State Capital. As of the 2000 census, the population of the city is 16,581.
Daphne is located at 30.631289, -87.886440. It is one of three cities that are collectively known as "The Eastern Shore" by locals. They are Spanish Fort to the north, Daphne in the center and Fairhope to the south.
