Directions from Kona International Airport (39 miles - 50 minutes) From the airport access road, turn left at the traffic signal onto Hwy 19. Continue north (about 45 miles) until you reach a stop sign. Turn right at this sign (still Hwy 19) and continue uphill for about 8-10 miles. You will eventually reach the town of Waimea (Kamuela). The Waimea Country Lodge is on the left-hand side just after the bend, before the traffic signal, and next to the Paniiolo Inn restaurant.
Kona International Airport -KOA-
Directions from Hilo Airport (57 miles - 90 minutes) From the airport access road, turn right at the traffic signal onto Hwy 11. Continue 1 mile and turn left onto Hwy 19 at the traffic signal. Turn right onto Hawaii Belt Road (still Hwy 19) at the next traffic signal, continue north for approximately 56 miles until you reach the town of Waimea. At the third traffic signal, turn right. The Waimea Country Lodge is on the right-hand side, next to the Paniolo Inn restaurant.
