KMR is a full service Guest Ranch, located 100 miles northwest of Denver, Colorado and nestled at 9000 feet in a one-of-a-kind secluded mountain valley. We are 15 miles from the nearest town and 4 miles from a paved road. You will not have to see or hear any neighbors at our ranch, which is just the right way to take in our scenic breathtaking vistas on trails or from one of our large decks. On our trails you can see wildlife including elk, deer, and moose. If you are looking for a serene and peaceful retreat, look no further.
Our all-inclusive packages range from a three night stay to a seven night stay, and we offer a variety of activities. Aside from horseback riding, we have skeet and trap shooting, rifle range, archery, guided and unguided hiking and fishing, and arena lessons and games. We also offer evening activities, such as square dancing, poker tournaments, country western singers, and talks around the campfire with a mountain man.
We have two lodges with a total of 34 rooms, each with either a king size or two double beds. Each room has a private bath and an entrance from our large redwood decks. Many of our rooms have a door connecting them creating a spacious family suite. Our guests enjoy an oversized, heated indoor swimming pool, a hot tub, tennis courts, a recreation center with a pool table and an antique, 2-lane Brunswick bowling alley.
Additionally, fish our private lake - it has been known to harbor beautiful 18-24 inch rainbow trout. In the evening, relax on one of our many decks and enjoy the magnificent scenery and the chance to spend time with the people you enjoy. If you take pleasure in the perfect combination of nature, excitement and activities, you will be right at home. Our meals range from hearty breakfasts to get your day started right, themed lunch buffets, BBQ cookouts and our dinners are 3 course plated meals artfully prepared by our Executive Chef and his team. And don?t forget our bottomless cookie jar.
