Centrally located in the heart of downtown Newport's bustling harbor front, Wyndham Inn on the Harbor is within a short walk of an endless array of historic and modern sightseeing attractions. With the resort sitting directly on Newport harbor, you can boat, fish, sail and do almost every other water sport there is. The property is also within minutes of the areas mansions (one mile) and the beach (two miles), and its just a short drive to T. Green Airport (27 miles) and downtown Providence (45 miles).
The onsite restaurant is a great spot for dinner and live entertainment, and the resort's activities director will graciously assist you with area tour bookings or day excursions. Wyndham Inn on the Harbor also features a game room, an onsite activities program and the Social Lounge, where you will find a large-screen TV, full kitchen, gas fireplace, wireless work station and a nice selection of books and board games, all in a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere.
